Considered as among the best horror movies ever created, The Shining, directed by legendary film creator Stanley Kubrick, is a chilling tale of a man and his descent into madness. Here, we follow the story of Jack Torrance who moves into a large hotel with his family to look after it during the winter months.

The Shawshank Redemption
Often cited as the best movie of all time, The Shawshank Redemption tells a powerful story of hope and redemption. Set in the 1930s, a man is accused of murdering his wife and sentenced to prison, where he befriends a number of other inmates.
Viewers follow as he constantly strives to improve the conditions of the prison, offer companionship to the inmates that he holds close, and is involved in an insidious scheme put in place by the warden. There are few other films that offer the same level of acting skill, storytelling, and a memorable redemption arc based on hope and a willingness to never give up.
